What Is The Character Name?

Please enter the desired name for the character you will be playing in the chatroom.

 

What Character Name Do I Use If Registering To A Mithrendain Family?

Please enter the desired first name for the character you will be playing in the chatroom. All characters registering to a Mithrendain family will automatically be given that family name. You are not required to include the family last name on your Oasiz nickname, but it is encouraged. All registered Mithrendain family members are expected to make clear note of their family name within their Oasiz profile.

 

Do I Have To Register To A Mithrendain Family?

No! All characters are welcome to exist within Mithrendain. Mithrendain families are simply a way to automatically link players together and encourage interaction, character dynamics, and storyline evolution. You are welcome to register with your new or current (non-Mithrendain) character that is played elsewhere on Oasiz.

 

Is My Email Address Made Visible To Other Players? Why Is It Required?

Your email address IS NOT shared publicly. Your email address will be used for registration purposes only. You will not receive spam or unwelcome solicitations. The email address may be used to contact the player if more information is required to complete character registration.

 

What Is A Registration Code?

A registration code is only required when registering a character that is a part of a current Mithrendain family. This allows us to update the website and ensure your character picture and name takes the place of the correct 'Available For Registration' block on the family tree. Each family tree is specifically structured, and therefore it is necessary to verify what role in the family you prefer playing, hence the registration code.

 

Where Do I Find The Registration Code?

Visit the "Available Characters" link at the top of the webpage. After selecting your preferred family, click the "See Available Characters" link specific to that family. You be taken to a new page that will display the family tree. Available characters are clearly marked, and the registration code is listed in the grey box under the picture for that character. 

 

May I Register To More Than One Family?

You are welcome to play multiple characters within the chatroom. Please keep in mind that quality roleplay and storylines are developed through time and consistency. If you are constantly bouncing from character to character, or spreading yourself too thin amongst a variety of characters, the associated family members and overall play of the chatroom could suffer. Please be considerate and conscientious of your affect on others in the room.

 

Do I Have To Enter A Registration Code?

A registration code is only required when registering a character that is a part of a current Mithrendain family. You will not enter a registration code if you are registering a personal character created outside of Mithrendain.

 

Do I Have To Enter Character Profile Information?

Yes. All players are expected to have a current and applicable profile for the character being played in Mithrendain. If you are registering to a Mithrendain family, please update your profile to indicate your Mithrendain family at the time of registration. Please ensure your profile picture is your preferred Mithrendain character picture. This will be displayed on the Mithrendain website.

 

Do I Have To Provide A Direct Link To My Character Photo?

Yes, please provide a direct link to that photo.

 

What If I Want To Update My Picture But Have Already Registered?

Please fill out the registration form and explain what you wish updated in the "Enter Character Profile Information" box.

 

What Does Level 3 Ranking Mean?

Mithrendain runs on a dice based system. Based on character involvement in the room, health and power increase over time. All non-registered characters start at Level 1, which equates to a 35% chance of succeeding in offense or defense, as well as the ability to take 8 points of damage before being knocked unconscious. By registering your character, your level increases to Level 2, subsequently jumping your percent up to a 39% chance of succeeding in offense or defense, and the ability to take 16 points of damage before being knocked unconscious. It is a no-brainer that simple registration automatically gives you twice the health stamina in battle or conflict than non-registered characters. So do it: REGISTER!
