The Cabal Coalition exists to organize the recognition of groups seeking status as a Mithrendain guild. Anyone of skill in a particular area is welcome to register as a guild leader.
Guild leaders are not recognized as authorized representatives of Mithrendain law. However, they do hold certain influence and may be asked to speak as an expert before the Mithrendain Council on particular topics of interest. As guilds are registered, they will be added to this page.
The Cabal Coalition
The Cabal Coalition is immersed within the city, as is to be expected by a property entirely focused on the organization and registration of Mithrendain guilds. Located within the city center, the Cabal Coalition is an ideal destination for those of ambition and skill.
Mithrendain Guilds
The following lists current Mithrendain Guilds active and accepting new members. To join a guild, follow the registration link located with the guild description. You will receive a confirmation email that you have been accepted. Joining a guild increases character to character relationships and assists in developing more intricate backstories/storylines.
The Black Rose Company
The Black Rose Company is a mercenary guild. Let it be known that anyone willing to wield a blade in the service of Mithrendain is invited to join the newly formed Blackrose Mercenary Company under the command of Cyric Flamestryker. Though your House affliation or status in the City does not have a bearing upon your employment in the Company, the Commander will take consideration of it when assigning you duties by contract. Training preferred but Cyric will train any man or woman that wishes to learn in his employment.
The Peoples' Eye
The People's Eye is a public guild, drawn forth from ideas within the House of Streets and intended to provide public assistance to the city watch. Any citizen in good standing can join this guild, regardless of social rank or House position. The intent is to provide a non-violent supplement to prevent crimes, keep businesses safe and report criminal activity where applicable. Funding for the guild is voluntary through donations, and overseen by Garen, of the House of Streets triad (NPC). Currently run by the Triad: Garen the Grocer (NPC), Octavia (NPC), and J'raal Kandar (active player).
The Bank
The Bank regulates the exchange of currency in the city. It provides a place to store wealth, as well as procure loans. It also allows for businesses to exchange currency for the common currency of Mithrendain. In order to become a member of this guild, one must apply by receiving permission from Tanith and completing the registration form. New players will start at the level of 'broker', which is similar to a personal banker. If the service they provide is satisfactory, the member can move up to represent the guild in more varied, and important capacities (for example, account representative, house representative, accounts manager... etc).
The Bard's Guild
The Bard's Guild is meant to provide safety for it's entertainers, as well as a fair wage with all those who hire through them. New and aspiring bards are always welcomed, and will gladly be trained, for a fee. There have been rumours that the head of the guild also trains in subterfuge and spying... All initiates will encounter a one-time fee for the guild's services. Contact Alys, House of Streets, for further information.
The Assassin's Guild
The Assassin's Guild is simply as it is named. Further information can be obtained from the current leader, Katalina Machiavelli.
Guild of Whispers
The Guild of Whispers is a house of elite trained spies and ‘wrongdoers’. Need some information or something done that isn’t quite on the right side of the law? The Guild of Whispers will be the culprits so you don’t have to. They use their special messaging service as a front. Have a missive or message with delicate material? Need something a little better than a normal messenger? The Guild of Whispers will memorize your message so it cannot be intercepted. To find out their other services, you’ll have to ask a member.
